Q. Eaton operates at the intersection of electrification, digitalization and energy transition. What are the most significant technology breakthroughs Eaton is bringing to the Indian market today, and how are these innovations changing the way businesses manage power, efficiency and resilience?

We are living through a fundamental shift in how power is generated, distributed and consumed. Whether it’s electrification, digitalization, renewable energy integration or the rapid growth of data centers, customers are rethinking how they build and manage their power infrastructure. They need solutions that are not only reliable and efficient, but also intelligent, connected and ready for future demands.

That’s where Eaton is focused. We are helping customers modernize and strengthen their electrical infrastructure through intelligent low- and medium-voltage power distribution solutions, advanced circuit protection, power quality solutions, backup power systems, industrial automation and digital energy management technologies. We are also supporting the growth of renewable energy and energy storage with technologies that help improve reliability, safety and system performance.

What sets Eaton apart is our ability to combine hardware, software and deep application expertise to solve complex power management challenges. Rather than looking at individual products, we help customers optimize their entire power ecosystem. Ultimately, our goal is to help customers improve reliability, increase efficiency, enhance resilience and gain greater visibility and control over their operations.

Q. India is emerging as a critical growth market amid rapid industrialization, electrification and infrastructure expansion. What are Eaton’s key growth priorities for India over the next three to five years, and where do you see the biggest opportunities for the company?

India is one of the most exciting markets for Eaton today. The pace of industrialization, infrastructure development, urbanization and digital transformation is creating significant opportunities across many sectors of the economy.

We see strong growth potential in areas such as data centers, utilities, grid modernization, industrial manufacturing, commercial buildings, renewable energy, critical infrastructure and aerospace. These sectors are investing heavily in technologies that improve efficiency, reliability and resilience, which aligns well with Eaton’s capabilities.

At the same time, India is much more than a market for us. It plays an increasingly important role in Eaton’s global engineering, innovation and manufacturing network. We continue to invest in expanding our research and development, digital technologies and advanced manufacturing operations in the country.

Through our One Eaton approach, we bring together the full breadth of our technologies and expertise to help customers solve their most critical power management challenges. Over the next three to five years, our focus will be on delivering sustainable growth, strengthening customer partnerships and further expanding India’s role as a global hub for innovation and talent.

Q. With AI, cloud computing and hyperscale infrastructure driving unprecedented data-center power demand, how is Eaton helping customers build data centers that are not only more reliable and scalable, but also more energy-efficient and sustainable?

The growth of AI, cloud computing and digital services is fundamentally changing the way data centers are designed and operated. As computing requirements increase, operators need more power, greater reliability and the flexibility to scale quickly, while also keeping energy efficiency and sustainability in focus.

Eaton supports customers across the entire power infrastructure of a datacenter. Our power distribution, protection and backup power solutions help safeguard critical operations and maintain business continuity. We also provide modular electrical and cable management systems that allow customers to deploy and expand infrastructure more efficiently as demand grows.

A key area of focus is visibility. Through our digital monitoring and energy management technologies, operators can better understand energy consumption, system performance, load conditions and equipment health, helping them make more informed decisions and improve overall efficiency.

As power demands continue to rise, particularly with the growth of AI workloads, customers need an integrated approach. Eaton helps them manage the data center as a connected system, enabling greater reliability, scalability and operational resilience while supporting their energy efficiency and sustainability goals.”
